Last two weeks in T.S.H.S.S were eventful. In the school, there was a sports meet conducted , Republic Day celebrations happened and we, teacher trainees conducted a few activities during substitution hours.  We helped in the organization of these programmes. For republic day, we helped making placards and helped in getting students ready.  On Republic Day celebrations, we actively participated in rally and helped the students. 

 Conscientization programme is an inevitable part of teaching practice. Today, we conducted conscientization programme on the topic Say No to Drugs in 8 A class. Students were actively participated in the programme from the beginning to the end. There was an awareness session inwhich students were given awareness on the harmful effects of drug abuse and addiction. In this session, psychological, physical and behavioral aspects were discussed. Along with this, special emphasis was given to the serious growth in rate of drug abuse among students and how it affects their life.  In order to check the awareness and to get more information about drug abuse, a questionnaire was given among students.  The conscientization programme officially wind up with a pledge. Agneeth from the class volunteered to say out the pledge.  In short, the Conscientization programme was a fruitful effort.

Second week of T.S.H.S.S was very good. Got a chance to see General Body Parents' Meeting in the school. Many parents participated in the programme actively. Followed by this, there was a Class PTA in the leadser ship of respective class teachers.  This week, Aravind Eye Hospitals organized a free vision testing in the school. Students from our school and from other schools in the vicinity participated in the campaign.  This week, students from the 10th class went for their trip to Munnar and Wonderla.  On 11th January, Jijan sir observed our classes and gave constructive feedbacks on the lesson plan and teaching aid preparation.

First week of teaching practice successfully completed in Taluk Samajam Higher Secondary School, Punalur. In this week, there was an assembly in the second working day.  The football tournament of the high school students took place in school ground.
