Conscientization Programme




 Conscientization programme is an inevitable part of teaching practice. Today, we conducted conscientization programme on the topic Say No to Drugs in 8 A class. Students were actively participated in the programme from the beginning to the end. There was an awareness session inwhich students were given awareness on the harmful effects of drug abuse and addiction. In this session, psychological, physical and behavioral aspects were discussed. Along with this, special emphasis was given to the serious growth in rate of drug abuse among students and how it affects their life. 
In order to check the awareness and to get more information about drug abuse, a questionnaire was given among students. 
The conscientization programme officially wind up with a pledge. Agneeth from the class volunteered to say out the pledge. 
In short, the Conscientization programme was a fruitful effort.

Basheer Day

 Vaikom Muhammad Basheer was born on January 2, 1908, in the village of Talayolaparambu near Vaikom in Kottayam district, the son of Kai Abdurahman and Kunjathumma, Primary education was at the Malayalam Church in Talayolaparambu and at the Vaikom English School. July 5 is the day of remembrance of Vaikom Muhammad Basheer. Taluk Samajam Higher Seckondary School also celebrated this special day with quiz competition related to Vaikom Muhammad Basheer. Vidyarangam Kala Sahitya Vedi organized this programme. Students from high school session actively participated in the programme. Results will be announced later.

5th Weekly Reflection

WEEKLY REFLECTION 5 (10.07.2023 TO 14 . 07.2023) This was my 5 th week of teaching practice. This week I completed 5 lesson plans. I conducted diagnostic test and remedial classes this week after conducting the diagnostic test. There weren't many extra-curricular programmes this week.  Participated in assembly and midday meal programme. Slides, chart with concept, activity cards ete were used as teaching aids.
