Teaching Advance Organizer Model

 Today, I taught Noun Phrases in 8D class using advance organizer model. The students responded well to the questions. Their basuc knowledge in parts of speech helped me to execute the lesson template successfully.

 Vaikom Muhammad Basheer was born on January 2, 1908, in the village of Talayolaparambu near Vaikom in Kottayam district, the son of Kai Abdurahman and Kunjathumma, Primary education was at the Malayalam Church in Talayolaparambu and at the Vaikom English School. July 5 is the day of remembrance of Vaikom Muhammad Basheer. Taluk Samajam Higher Seckondary School also celebrated this special day with quiz competition related to Vaikom Muhammad Basheer. Vidyarangam Kala Sahitya Vedi organized this programme. Students from high school session actively participated in the programme. Results will be announced later.

An Inevitable Break

The two weeks of teaching practice has come to an inevitable pause due to the Second Semester examinations. Even though much of the beautiful images etched in the heart are not crystallized as photographs, the experience was priceless.
